He's know as being the a q3 cheater in France. Lot of ppl said he cheats (70% accuracy shaft, 10% rl + noob move skill + young whine, some things like this), but he came on LAN and played quite well ppl said too, but was not as impressive as on inet so lot said he at least was a cheater for sure. He's young and nerver was appreciated by most of the community since he was catch up saying he tried some cheats in query to linkin and other ppl, some other ppl did a video with his whine and special aim and so on...

Note I don't play q3 anymore since ~3 years and uninstalled this game so...

Just to go deeper than what Jazka says, i think a video is the better way to convince ppl :)
There was a big one made by nettah and pipeline but i don't have it anymore, but i still have this one , enjoy !

Assuming he's clean, the dm6 was boring but decent, and the dm17 pretty much the same thing... Instagib dm17 vs epic failures = wicked easy, and being the lone player vs many is of course in his direct favour in every case except the very few times they randomly happened to stand in good positions for spawnfragging. The ONLY thing that was cool was that he had such solid aim with that ping, I seriously doubt he hasn't played and practised a lot with it as opposed to what he kinda insinuates with all the "i suck with this ping" and "my real ping is 30"...

Didn't look for any cheats so have no idea if anything was fishy, my computer was having constant hickups throughout and I couldn't be arsed restarting Q3. Would be cool to see the "big video" amt is talking about because the two frags in that small avi say nothing, raping complete newbies all day long makes you do shit like that in pure boredom, sometimes you hit sometimes not :) Not judging it, but atleast out of context it proves nothing.

Maybe he tested some cheats but it was a long time ago.
i played him a lot, saw him play, never seen any cheats in his games.

-skilled +developped some aim. Which is due to happen when you use cheats on a regular basis (since it's an excellent tutorial) and play as much as he did.
In any case hitting 50+ lg and 60+ rg with a fucked up conn because his daddy uses it (with ping oscillating between 65 and 120+ ms) is nowhere near possible in my opinion. Especially when at times he hits nothing and all of a sudden he will hit a like 80% lg even in the middle of a ping spike.

Haven't seen him play for a while though (haven't even bothered watching this demo), but he's one of the very very rare cases for whom, past some point, I stopped having the slightest doubt.
Maybe he stopped cheating, who cares ? He's been one of the most annoying players around last few years, and the cheating part was not really the worst part. His behaviour in itself has been quite troublesome.
Kevin is just a kid looking for attention, well at least in a way, on that particular point, he succeeded.

Low sens instagib on dm17, probably with a low fov or even zoomed, lots of easy rails missed, always the same dodging pattern (which works apparently vs not so good players :), etc...

Well it was pretty obvious he was cheating when he started quake3 (many demos videos matchs etc where you had like thousands of evidences).

After that, he trained a lot, so i guess that, with all that time spent playing, he must be a decent player. I don't think he has been cheating for a while now though. But any player with the same amount of time would have basically the same level, what was interesting was when he arrived and had a better aim than now.

Otherwise, instagib vs newbs doesn't help in any way, and don't tell a thing about his level.

never said that he is a pro gamer, it's just a skilled guy (keep this in mind) who played some non-skilled ppl on this demo (like a lot of demos here or on other website with q3 demos...)

We have 2 options : he was cheating/he is cheating...
however, what we see on that demo is skill and not cheat, so stop to flame this guy...

i was playing q3 like the big noob i am ( ;-) ) 3 years ago, and i heard about the "cheats of stx"... it's one of the most popular french troll of q3, ppl continue to flame him for some cheats or something, 3 years after i have heard about this, and 5 years after the "facts"....

if someone beat you hardly, u'll say "fu" and disconnect if you want to lame, but if you know that he was testing some cheats (just one time) or something, u'll say "CHEATER" and disconnect :-)

that guy's aim was HORRIBLE, and he DID have to cheat to do it (see 11:09 in the dm17 demo).

now he just needs to instagib 1v2 toxic/fox.

So, I'm Sh4d/Manov, I'm really unknown from the quake's community, but i always believe in strenx.
A lot of people (like my friend pipeline and nettah) looked him like a cheater. One day i was meet strenx on a server and play with him... after we have play 1month, maybe all night in duel (i'm really sadomasochistic right :))

I can say without hesitation now : he is not a cheater.

I was succeed to bring him on a lan, and all can say there are no autoshoot or what other cheat in his config. And.. as on the net... it's more and more impressive when your are behind the screen :DD

For me, really, if the french quakers wasn't saying him like a cheater... he was probably be a real biiiig gooood player. All french's community was, perhaps, jealous... but it's ridiculous. (sansai focussed)

Sorry for my bad english, strenx don't paid me to say that for him... but plz... don't do like the french's quaker's community... and play with him and make confiance in his skill.
