Just a question for the Americans that frequent this site.
What do you think of Mike Gravel?
I must say I am both incredibly elated to hear a presidential candidate talking about the things he wishes to implement as I am worried that the mass of Christian voters will simply sand bag him.
I wish dearly for a man of such conviction (as he apparently seems to be) to step into the Australian political arena, but what are your thoughts as it's going to be your votes that matter.

Other than that? Well, GOP are shooting themselves in the foot by ridiculing Ron Paul who in my opinion is the only one who even have a chance against the Democrats.
But the whole political system in the US is really ridiculous. It's not so much democracy but more like "who should be dictator for the next 4 years?". A popularity contest where the participants only give their views on the most stupid subjects (Gays, abortion, Terroism(scaretactics)).
