can someome tell me why i cant play any of these wsvg demos? I have all patches, q4max d and all the maps. I have tried all enforce_fs settings and it still locks up

Try fresh quake4config.cfgs in q4base/mp/max.

your q4max directory is under mp? Because mine is under quake4 which works fine for playing and watching demos in every other version. I did try fresh cfgs and it still locked up. Though maybe i should try moving the whole directory so that q4max is under mp

No no no. just trash the .cfg files in these folders when you want to go for clean configs. If you have no cfg in /q4max it'll start a config from the one left in /q4base, so obviously, you don't get a really clean config.

he meant the q4base folder, q4max folder, and q4mp folder :)

oh ok that worked. But how can i play demos with my cfg lol. What could possibly be in my cfg so that it doesnt play demos

phrantic was close to complete domination, amazing play by toxic. fox couldn't do much, I guess we won't see him win a big event soon.

was really close for the first few minutes, up until fox made his first mistake, he'd kept himself going pretty well for a while, but as soon as he made his mistake, tox capitalized fully and then fox knew he couldn't get a comeback unless he went aggressive, it didn't pay off and toxic proceeded to get another bit of momentum, and outran fox. Really tight up until them imo.

hi guys, I was hoping someone could point me to a download of the maps for these demos? I have the quakemas map pack and the CPM submissions map pack by id... but the game keeps giving me errors regarding missing maps?
