In both movies the character pays someone to be alone with a woman.

Ah ok, now I understand, he pays so he can get time alone, I thought the quote meant that he paid to have somebody else rape her in Kill Bill. Thanks!

Death Proof was fantastic and I throughly enjoyed it.

As people have said on IMDB, had anyone other than Tarintino tried to pitch that screenplay to a studio they would of been turned down. But hey, when you're QT you've got the money to push these sort of things through, and I can't think of anyone else who COULD have pulled it off like he did.

Yes, there is alot of dialogue in this film, but I really think it builds the film. It is so Tarintino to have his characters just sat about talking enjoyable bullshit - opening scene of Dogs, anyone?

The scene at the second bar where we are first introduced to Russel's Stunt man Mike is just great, it builds up both his character and the girls, gives you something to chew on. I was thinking to myself that Stunt man Mike was one of the coolest Tarintino characters ever - I mean, how great was it when he was in the car telling pam that she would have to start getting scared immediately - haha :D

The Kill Bill references are a bit too numerous but they work to good effect, there are also some great slap stick moments like when the biker smashes into the wall when Kim starts to chase down Mike.

And then there is Zoe Bell! WHAT A FUCKING MAD BITCH :D She single handedly made the movie twice as good for me, I may not be a Kiwi, but fucking hell she was great - stunts and acting alike. She also delivered the funniest line in the movie when she jumps above the bush yelling out, "I'm okay!"

All in all, I thought it was a really fun film that never once tried to be more than what it was.

Yeah I liked Zoe and that certain scene as well, especially since she really reminds me of a friend of mine :)

Tarantino = crap.

Transformers = crap.
