No -- High rating on the wire gives ESR traffic. Like said before it is just like a "digg it" button.

I do not know what a "digg it" button is, and I dont understand why its there still. Obviously showing sources of some newspost is needed, I mean if some news is posted on tehwire a button/link on the ESR post is needed to show the original source. But if there is a movie posted on ESR for example, why on earth should there be a link to tehwire which is another site? When that other site has nothing at all to do with either the movie or anything the movie is about?
So what the heck is a "digg it" button? :o

the more "diggs" it gets on tehwire the more likely ppl will see the news items and click them which will lead them to esr.
