if you have that budget you can forget alienware.
dell isnt that bad nowadays actually, check it out on their website i think you can build your pc online and then see what the costs are.

otherwise i'd have to say build your own system and add the extra 100 quid or smth and theyll get it built for you

some dells dont look that bad

some of the alienwares look like they could go under 1000

just i case you didn't know, alienware belongs to dell now.

whats the point in buying a pre-built rig. It would only take a few hours to make one up.

and build-yourself-rigs are really much cheaper (atleast here in funland) + its fun to build your own rig !

pre-built and pre-installed os usually comes with some sort of deal where you can return the whole shebang and have it fixed if something doesnt work. I guess thatd be nice for people without computer skills/friends with computer skills :>

i built my last pc but i live in constant fear of it exploding into flames....4-5 years and waiting!

no chance of a 8800 gtx for under a grand, most pcs for that kinda money are only offering 8600gt at the most.

i know u say u want pre-build its really worth doing it yourself, youll get alot more power for the money.
