Pinnacle is a

UT2004 TDM movie featuring the best frags from

CPL 2004 Winter Extreme Event and

ClanBase EuroCup XI. Both of these were 4on4 TDM Tournaments with money prizes and lan finals with the best clans from all over the world attending.

"This movie has been in production on and off for about a year now. I started off by watching about 33 server side demos from CPL, which means 264 of 20 minute maps when you count all the players. Because I was feeling rather suicidal, I also gathered as many ECXI demos as I could find, meaning about 16 server side and 37 client side demos. After watching the demos I took a long break from everything and resumed working on this project after my spring holidays." - meep

This movie could be one of the best ut2k4 videos ever... but that horrible soundtrack destroys the movie completely for me.

I'll give it a 7/10 with sound turned off.

reminds me some good moment on that game, and that ut3 won't have dodge+jump and this will sux (even if it was badly set in 2k4)

wow, great movie, i think even the best ut2k movie so far!
all the who's who of the ut scene in one movie, great!
only thing missing was the crosshair ;)

imho the soundtrack is adequate, since the song-mood describes the feelings of most ut players when they think about the good old ut and its ..successors, which dramatically decimated the ut community and eventually led to the current comatose state of the ut2kx community ;P

A so nice quality movie NEEDS to be smooth, IMO. I mean, every movie should be smoth, but I would prefer less quality for a smother movie than this.

And... so many demos and THESE are ALL the best frags? 4 minutes or even less. Wow... =S

FAILED for not including stryfes godlike killing spree with lg gun, I dont know how you could have missed that. Framerate was poor, music was poor, presentation was poor. 2/10

awesome movie, great music and reminds me all the way back to ut99 as well with all the familiar nicks as well as thier also just as familar fakenicks, also i was very impressed with the cata rememberance and the demos of him in the movie is still shocking even now, knowing that we will never see him do them moves again, just shows that time never stops and we can never change the past just accept it, infact as a whole community that time that was UT will never be relived again.
