mates just got one of those, its their walkman range so can store loads of mp3s, comes with 512mb memory card but obviously can buy bigger ones. it looks really nice too.

of course you could wait till November and get an iphone =)

ye, u see, the 200+200(or 400 if ur an online customer) is the £25 tarrif... so what they've done is added £10 to it for the unlimited data and wifi, so your contract would be £45 if u wanted an iphone 600mins+1000txts(online ofc) but im not sure if u get the long weekends still, you prob will... its just ur paying for data+wifi because of the iphone! (still ontop of that u gotta pay £269!) tis alot of money for a phone!

What do you think of those portable broadband modems from people like T-Mobile?

I read 3 gig allowance for either 15 or 30 quid a month. Im quite tempted, though I really want some sort of phone or mobile pc (smaller than laptop) which will work FLAWLESSLY with MSN/YAHOO MESSENGER and a web browser so I can have a quick troll. Any ideas inc all in prices?

t-mobile have HSDPA cards (hsdpa is 3,6mb/s) but there coverage is shite as far as i know (if u live london, ul be fine, further north u get worse coverage is..)

O2 only have 3g data cards out atm which is 384ish kb/s but coverage is better imo!

if i remember correctly u can get unlimited (limited to about 1gb) for about 25quid! (on both o2 and t-mob)

i dunno about other networks, have a look!

ALSO u can plug most 3g/HSPA phones into ur laptop via usb and use them as modems, so u dont really need a usb modem!

well wat about vodafones?

Nokia 3210. best phone ever. it works even i drive over it with car

I slammed my 3210 in the ground at least ten times and it still worked flawlessly. the battery went south tho, which is to be expected. but man could that phone take a beating!

well its got the best flash which is xenon, but the n95 have good pic qual too,

N95 is a bit too big for my liking tbh .. I want a phone with a decent camera .. not bothered by lots of other flashy features

n95 has horrible battery life, dont get it! you are lucky if it lasts 1 day under moderate use.

got that myself last week, brilliant phone!

battery life is awesome too, from the very first charge its lasted me 4days with average use + an hour or two of music, beat that N95! :D

yeah biggest let down to the n95 is the bat life, u can tweak down the lighting etc and turn wlan and bluetooth off which helps but it still lasts 2 days max.

turning off 3g helps too!

so expensive ;_;

first year 10 euros a month, 2nd year 20 euros a month and you pay 50 euros for the phone itself.
