- video quality was terrible (LQ Version, but with 350 MB for 10 minutes you can do much better)
- too high fov and fucked up aspect ratio
- way too many average and boring frags
- single music tracks dont fit together and are poorly mixed

You could have made this a lot better by putting a little more effort in it (delete half of the frags and use better video compression), because some frags were quite entertaining.

i think cymozz has said enough :) but nevertheless keep up the good work :> always nice to see a new fragmovie

-music is strung together badly. try some more dramatic or action music w/ syncing
-gun models come and go
-yeah i agree that the fov is too high. its normal for in-game but in a movie it doesnt look as nice.

if you chose more compelling music with some syncing it couldve been a great movie. but all the random music made it rly boring. there were some really nice frags but the way u presented them made me zZzZz. good for ur first movie, i wouldnt be able to do half the shit u did, so gj!

Good work on it. Agree a lot on the compression. Too blocky all over. And too choppy footage at times.

but Fov is irrelevant unless you want fov 90 and the gun taking the whole page? remember it is about the frags not the gun showing?

And music is always debatable - alot of people have said music is fine so again thats irrelevant -

if most people feel frags suck? err I have seen couple of other frag movies and I would see this one has better quality especially from two individuals collected over summer pickup games.
Remember these frags are done in game by two defenders means we chase to get the flags back etc blah blah

I think you misunderstand about the compression. It should take MORE space. It looks too blocky now, it should look better.

FOV is completely relevant. And you can adjust the way the gun model appears very easily using these commands: g_gunz "" g_gunx "" g_guny "". These work regardless of what the fov is set to. It's also extremely important to have the gun model showing. Pretend for a second that maybe, just maybe, someone who doesn't play quake 4 might watch your movie. Being that they don't play the game nor are familar with the weapons, they might be scratching their heads when random projectiles come flying out of the screen from out of nowhere, same goes for weapon changes. But I thought this was common sense :/

As for compression, well, i'm not even going to go there. This is probably the worst quality to filesize ratio i've ever seen. Google is your friend, use it!

Besides that, not to bad for a first movie. Although, like the others have said, the way the songs are just thrown together was really bad for me also the lack of any kind of syncing.
