they represent no danger for other pro players if they play other maps excepting pt4 (for example czm admitted his hard moments were passing over once he defeated cooller on last contest, and he played the finals against jibo not cooller)

there's no real sense in replying to you.

if jibo has a strength then it's ztn/nodm9. there's a reason those maps came up twice between these players and it's not because pt4 is their best map.

I remember some days ago while browsing through q3acn.com q3 demos I found some old China q3 competitions with rocketboy and jibo there and I was searching for a match between these two players on pt4, because I still ask myself who would be better on that map, but did not find any
now there is another opportunity gone :)

czm is not rock solid on ztn and pro-dm6 is the map of spawn and unbalanced control

jibo / rocketboy is not really the best russian / asian player on pt4, watch some of the demos of nobap or some of the guys from russian Lamz' clan,....Lamz' question or something like that, but nobody will ever be better than zero4 on pt4, fazz comes close though.

everybody know z4 was rock solid on pt4, my favourite q3 demo ever is z4 vs fox qcon 2003 pt4, but I would like to see who would win in a jibo against rocketboy match on pt4
as for somebody saying jibo won against cooller on pro-dm6 well pro-dm6 is map of control, matches are nice to watch but for competition the map is shit, too much control, the map is so stupid if there would be a pro-dm6 contest only with 30 pro competitors, it would be almost impossible to guess who the winner will be pro-dm6 is so unbalanced that you see all around scores like 17-0, scores which would make you think one guy is a pro the other is a n00b, but hey! the other guy is socrates, what's going on then ?

I'd say last quake3 "strong" days had about three solid players on pt4: czm, fox and jibo
rocketboy on the other hand had pretty nice games on pt4 on ESWC 2003, facing players like socrates and Fazz and showed to be pretty good there

you are kind of right about pro-dm6 but remember if say ,hypothetically such a competition ever occured pdm6 would be played 3 times per match-up (not like quakecon 1 mapper !!) and I still think cooller / czm / toxic would come on top, they really have the skill to take control back in pdm6, which is really difficult at any skill level, the higher the skill level, steeper it gets. Just think about 2006 cpl czm-cooller matchup in WB or the 2005 eswc final (where czm almost came back), and toxic also used to play super dominant on dm6.

speaking of z4, he's playing again. :)

yeah, played a few pt4 games w/ him a couple nights ago. He's still REALLY rusty but is getting better. chance beat him a couple games about two nights ago.

I am assuming he's playing now just for fun, since q3 isn't played anymore?
