+ music which actually worked well with the content after all these whateversubgenre techno/trance/idontgiveafuck ruined tricking and whateversubgenre metal/rock ruined frag movies
+ content, mad timing skills as always
+ camera work, 1st person view made it more spectacular and less repetitive than all the other movies (defrag got kinda boring), transitions were really great
+ maps, had some stock maps which is always nice to see (omgz osp6 run in the end? xD)
can't judge quality as I only watch streams these days
+ no superlong boring intro/outro, was ok
+ overall feeling, made defrag look interesting and not dull and repetitive as usual

oh well, 10/10 for not ruining it with the usual stupid and repeated mistakes :D

I think the amount of work put into the vid is commendable, but as far as technicality of editing I don't quite agree with the summary -- sorry tom :-( . One video, for the life of me I can't remember the name, where the editor had gone in by hand and edited each frame with some nice visuals over certain parts (like close in nade cams) or even used blur to create depth-of-field. But the editing is very well done for the most part.

The music is, in my opinion, kinda boring and doesn't add enough to the material (sadly I think techno/electronica is more suitable to the type of tricks -- but Live to Fly 2 did a great job of breaking that mold). And as Ranj said above, the outro song had me in disbelief. What a crumby way to end the vid.

Also, on the material, as far as I'm aware, several of the people in the vid are known to use complex scripts and use low time-scales. It makes the content far less impressive when you think that they're doing this in quarter timescale and using some insanely specialized script to do a certain trick. It's the same way I'd feel if someone scripted a frag movie: disinterested.

But still, I want to commend renk on the hard work he put into editing the vid. Still fairly entertaining vid.

I'd give it a 7 out of 10 (all 7 going to renk's outstanding work).

I don't like Defrag movies. I think they're repetetive and get boring after a few minutes.

This one is an exception. Great camera work, fresh maps and jumps, awesome transitions and Muse in the sound track made me enjoy every second of this. Only 9/10 for the last song though, Rihanna just didn't feel right among the other songs.

Overall really good effort, but I actually thought there was too much camera work.

great music. (logradechili obviously has little taste xD). nicely synched, decent mix of first and third person cams. too bad it felt like all this work was a bit wasted on a tricking movie, cos the content is so predictable nowadays.

awesome camera work and very good pacing of action - slow motion. Umbrella ruined the ending.

high quality crt's haven't been made for quite some time now

top notch editing the way i like it - not excessively overdone but nice and fitting, cool refreshing music, camera&synch work and reasonable intro/outro..this is how the movies should look like

I loved the editing and the soundtrack(especially the first track - I love this song ever since the Sin City trailer =))
Too bad it was freestyle-only, but just as live to fly it was very much enjoyable nonetheless.
Also could have used a little more 1st person footage.

Anyways, great movie.

Watched the first 2 minutes, recognized then that it's a FS tricks movie, stopped watching and deleted it.
FS movies are just so unspectacular and boring to watch, every omg3xrj2doublegren2plasma2inverted3xrj stuff has already been seen a few hundred times, my opinion.

yer and just imagine how many times people have fragged other people in quake 3. best to stop watching all q3 vids then.

great job. only down point for me was rihanna but its forgivable since you avoided the very obvious music we uaually see in q3 vids. still dont think editing was as great as some of the shaolin stuff, but certainly worthy of an 8.

The models where awesome, the skins where awesome, the music was right.

the greyscale thingy that kicks in at 4:40 is.. wow...

I would love to play with such a config and graphics, they really do add up to the whole atmosphere:)
