A series of 6 short OVA episodes were produced based on the series. A full-length CGI render movie is planned to be released, based on the story-line of the manga series.

if i remeber there were some short ova's done, but they seems to be more just rolling scenes of the artwork rather then proper animation. anyway you should always read the manga before you watch the anime, its nearly always superior. atleast in anything i have come across.

it's cool and all, but in the end BLAME! feels ... just empty.

well because of the lack of dialogue i think people have real trouble understanding the story, but it is there you just have to work harder at it then usual.

if you mean the end of the story leaves things unanswered, well i belive it answers all that is neccesary and it would have been crap to have some sort of omniscient character come in and fill out all the missing details, which is the only concievable way to do it in such a reality. the whole atmosphere of the manga would be killed.

plus i will add that empty is the correct feeling that should be produced in a megacity (possibly dyson sphere) with size beyond comprehension, that is almost totally devoid of life. that is what the mangaka is trying to make you feel.

haha, in an abstract way i guess since in the artwork she tends to be very "spindley" is the best way i can describe it. not that im saying the art is bad, its the best i have seen in any manga and i absolutley love the whole style of it.

i think maybe some of the game i have done are a little old for most people prehaps. if i do another i will try to go from 32bit gen onwards.
