this demo is a perfect example for why remakes should stay out of new games.

Not really, Deck is more fun in UT3 than what it was in UT1, its more fast, not so hitscan based, the rockets are more usefull and you have more control with the new boots, its pretty cool.

Well, in my opinion 2k4 players have an advantage over the ut99 players anyways with the movement and maps being alot similar to 2k4, However thats not that point, sypher won the 2nd map also, if he was boasting he would post that demo as well, If ScrMz has a problem with it then thats just pathetic and cowardly, everybody loses now and then, who cares? well i think the complete opposite. the ut99 movement is closer to the ut3 movement than 2k4 is and the maps we have atm, in 1v1 anyway, arent anything like the 2k4 maps. also without the shieldgun i believe the gameplay in general is more like ut99. not to mention ut3 has the same powerups as ut99 ;p

yes everybody loses and THAT part isnt a big deal. people just have a problem with players self promoting themselves. scrmz is known as a top player and ive never heard of sypher before, and then he posts a demo of himself beating said top player. so surely you can see how that looks like boastful behavior? no?

I am a well known UT99 player. Alot of UT99 players are doing very well at this game, its not our fault we are unknown to the wider community because of this.

I would of posted the second demo over this one because it was such an intense match. But It didnt get recorded in time :(

The 2k4 players do have a major advantage in movement and sound awareness.

It's not like i just pm'd scrmz for a practice game beat him then uploaded the demos. It was an official match for a big cup which has alot of prize money. And if i dont upload the demos nobody will, as this cup has only very limited coverage.

i dunno about the "major" advantage there, if theres an advantage i dont think it would be very big, i think having a map thats been popular in ut99 for the last 7 years is a bit bigger of an advantage. i dont mean to sound like im devaluing your win, i just dont like how this map is getting played in this "new game" ;p

anyway, theres no problem as far as im concerned with posting the demo, i was just pointing out how it may appear to be boastful xd
