Z4 kinda lost his head there- but karabas is a great player so I can't really say it's an unexpected victory.

Whatever happened to respect though? Between the in-game comments between players (moreso z4 to kara) and the early quit- doesn't speak well for a "world class" player

he hasn't been "world class" since 2004?

feels like i got into a time machine back to 2000.. karabas style is really outdated,good aim but very bad movement. by the look of things z4 should just dedicate to something else before his new (?) attitude makes us all forget about his achievements

i'm curious as to what made you decide that karabas exhibited poor movement. this is suprising to me, considering the fact that he's an accomplished defragger/tricker. my observation is that he was simply patient and kept things simple rather than speed running through the map and giving away his position to a traditionally sneaky zero4. in fact, all but one of his rocketjumps were successful and effective, not to mention he wasn't experiencing trouble running into walls while travelling to his desired locations. furthermore, he outaimed zero4 on nearly all fronts as well as showing some exemplary dodging skills when zero4 was on the charge. and as everyone should know, strong aim and dodging are foundationally hinged upon a solid grasp of movement techniques/timing.

concerning style...perhaps an outdated set of strategy and tactics are required to defeat an outdated player?

just my opinion but i don't think this is ZeRo4, i think he made many mistakes at the most part of the game.

it's 100% without a doubt him. him and another notable well known player from the same era have been playing q3 quite a bit with some of the more current top players in the country. and it's always fairly obvious when it's zero4.
