They allways could, even without xerpclients.

But, again, to play along;

For example rockets don't feel like LAN because it isn't LAN, xerpclients predicts the enemy's position so imagine if your enemy is moving to the left at 320 ups and his model is predicted to be 50 ms further(No idea what value's there are with xerpclients, but for the sake of the argument.).
Now, all of the sudden he starts moving to the right and once again, xerpclients predicts the model to be 50ms further, this time, to the right.

There must have been a sudden jump between where the model was predicted far to the left, and when the player changed direction and the model was predicted to the right, now the prediciton by the code is still correct, but the projectile prediction by the player is most likely a tad of due to the sudden shift, again this would affect all weapons but it is most likely easier to notice with rocketlauncher as shaft has got a higher rof and thus can be adjusted faster.

As to wether this throws of the balance... well using such prediction on projectile weapons isn't such a good decision in the first place, wich would be the reason MANY people have weapon specific xerp settings.

u r real idiot :D we played osp 5 years, all was happy! cpma vq3 maked us more happy even after 1 year play! buuuuuut then started some bad changes... etc: icons, lg, xerp, rail.. :) get the point.. :)

why then we moved from osp to cpma, most was happy @ netcode, but look what happened then xerp using by vq3, not cpm, most of good players angry, coz much low skill u need to aim, xerp destroying all vq3 game..
