corepad magna here, works GREAT.
It's a glasspad so it never chages, easy to clean(i havent yet actually) and you need better teflon feet.
It's not cold at all.

I have one too and it doesn't work with the DA at all... very small skips due to the structure all the time...

Let me guess, you did one of two things like most complaining about skipping:

1) Added the mousefeet and forgot to remove the original and clean the socket before adding new feet.
2) Not updated firmware and using the original firmware that came with the mouse

Blah, I'm simply using skatez strips over the original feet and updated firmware and driver. Do you even know the Magma? The comb structure is the problem using the DA sensor, it's fine with my old Copperhead.

The thing is you need the DA as close as possible to the surface for it to work correctly. So when adding skates over skates you get it X mm higher making it not read correctly.

What worked for the Copperhead doesn't have anything to do with this. NEVER add skates over skates, you'll only run into problems sooner or later. The closer the mice are to the surface the better reading they get, when you add skates ontop of others you aren't actually helping the reading out :P

And yes know the corepad magna, mousepad doesn't really matter if you do the mouse-setup wrong =) I myself use a icepad v2 black, not any problems of skipping etc.

never used anything except my qck+, but it works well for me

qck+ is horrible for deathadder for some reason :(

qpad ct works really nice for g5 + g7 and ms1.1a + 3.0... cant see why it wont work nice with DA :)

Works very well on a Qck+. The mice that have problems are mostly laser mice or mice owned by retards who can't see to get it to work on anything, in which case you start to wonder about user error.

i think its fucked up on qck cause qck gets worn off easily, and has those grey spots which prolly make DA work bad. i tried it myself.

i've had my qck since they came out and I haven't used anything else (so it's kinda worn). the DA still works well on it. never had any tracking problems and it's smooth as anything. *shrug*

I guess different people have different experiences, I wash my Qck+ from time to time and the surface hasn't torn at all so it's fine.

i use a razer mantis control, it tracks really good at the low sense i use (~60 cm for 360)

the lift off distance is less then 2 cd/dvd's stacked up together.

the friction is smooth but very controllable with my deathadder, could be due to the hyperglide mouse feet i use. I have tried this mousepad with my old mx518 w/ stock mousefeet and the friction and glide felt absolutely horrible.

Icemat \o/ nothing negative to say about it. Use my DA with it for now 3-4 months, just buy some hyperglidz and update the firmware and it's a Go Go :D

any clothed mousepad, but what ive notived is that when you do diagonal movements instead of the mouse pointer following a straight diagonal line it moves like its going down a stair. Although horizontal and vertical movements follow a completely straight line.

Oh btw, to all deathadder owners, does you right click make a stronger click noise when you push it compared to left click? Or is it just because ive clicked on left too many times??? :D

You should try it and tell us what you think. Currently I'm LOVING my allsop raindrop XL with my D.A. + Hyperglides, but if you can talk me into it, I'll try that mousepad you keep talking about.

Anyhow, qpad is a plastic surface ? Having used a s*s steel (plastic) I think a cloth mouse mat would be better,

Really? I switched from a corepad EYEpad (which had the trembling cursor problem) to an Everglide fnatic, and my liftoff distance is just under 4 cd's. It's really putting me off.

Asking for advice on mousepads will give you alot of useless information, almost everyone is going to try to sell you their mousepad of choice to confirm their selection is the right one. Search the forum and look for descriptions of mousepads to get an idea of what they are like and make a select one that might suit your preferances. Since you are like person #200 asking the same question without using search I will not give give you any more advice than that.

Just use whatever for ur mouse.. get quality pad like allsop Raindrop or stell qck so it last long etc.. special pad for special mouse? crap marketing !
