Oh my @ dm6. Really intense, but i can't help feeling that both players rushed a bit too much (especially Zik in the end). Still, good show, well played, and grats on 1st place in the group, Guard. :)

You really think ,what good players dont use all allowed commands to get better aim and results? everyone can say " i dont use ,i am super pro" , but all know what a lot of good players use it to be better online with PING and it is normal.
P.S. Guard play a lot of LAN tourneys in LIthuania and in Poland and was first without xerp and what? so shut up!

I can easily get 0% with or without xerp.

Ok simple example.You are good player and on lan have 30% shaft,but online you have 50 ping and 25% shaft or 70 ping and 20% shaft,what you doing? play with 20% shaft and say to all: " look at me i dont use xerp" but you lose with your ping 70 and 20% shaft against anathoer good player with ping 20 and shaft 30%..i dont like xerp too,because all players only shaft in all position..but why players cant use xerp to be better online if it is allowed? just disable this command in next cpma version or in servers.

Well, everyone has his own playing style, all is respectable but under my opinion i think that the OSP games in the past were more intenses.

I think that the things will change in lan, hope so.

yeah cpma changed a lot.. i feel it in lan, etc: all battles in ztn @ mega was with rl, now 50 on 50 with lg or rl... thats shows, how lg changed even on lan.. but its not so bad think, need live with new things :D

You speak to me like i never played on lan/internet with OSP and trust me i played a lot, I know what i am talking about because im not new on the scene, i lived OSP best moments and now CPMA.

I know that the spanish connections were so bad in the OSP days but it makes no sense with the playing style, we (D&M) always played very tactically in lan and on internet with no rushes so.. is like for example Vikings were a very good tactical team with no rush and i liked a lot how they played in OSP, now if they play in CPMA they will need to rush all the time or they will lost almost a lot of games.
What i mean is this mod is making the people play more rushing style, no option to choose.

Like Guard says it changed a lot because when i installed the CPMA and i started playing like i was playing in OSP i lost almost all my matches choosing bad weapon in bad moment, sadly shaft changed everything...

Pick armors+rail+shaft = CPMA

OSP was more estrategic, with more playstyles under my oppinion.

yes, this is the key to balance weapons and return tactics > lg aim.

I think all want to see nice rails and good rockets, better than see a whole match of lg vs lg duelling.

guard said the truth, today u'll see a rocket vs shaft battle only if the guy with the rocket doesnt have shaft. even in close close fight.

Vq3 is still a matter of brain, though with the ancient hitscan gone, players can now play much more offensive. The strategies and styles remain the same, which was proven by many game(r)s already, i.a. Cooller vs Cypher @ asus autumn 2k7.

but it's not all rushing (yet) these days, there are still a lot of good strategic games to be found. I'm just very curious how things will work out on lan.

i know who u are, don't know if u remember but i'm pretty sure we (infernum) played you (d&m) many years ago.. or at least we played at the same time in the same cups/tourneys

and it's not about internet connections or mods that make teams prefer a certain strategy, but more like the efficiency of a certain strategy at a time
check the scores in the very first eurocup, u had similar results compared to today because of similar strategies (rushing)
a little later, maybe 1 or 2 years, it became more popular to play what u call 'tactically', when unmatched and later sk started to play very defensive. suddenly u got low and really close scores
times changed again and now we're back to rushing

just a matter of 'fashion' if u ask me, things keep developing :)

You're wrong. Seems like you don't really know how CPM works and why CPM has been made.

Also, if you want a slow-paced game with loads of tactics and defensive style of playing, then why don't you play CS ?

This is QUAKE, it is supposed to be fast & spectacular. First time I see people complaining about "too much rushes". WTF ? And I prefer a good rush than a supposed tactical style @ wait + rail. This is more spectator friendly, more impressive, and harder to do.

And remember : vq3 = LG battle, if not, then rail as much as possible.

rail @ 100 dmgs + insane knockback + load of ammos = evil
lg @ high dmgs + pretty long range + high knockback = evil
large 1on1 map = dm6 = evil
cpma =/= evil but vq3 = evil

cpm = god.

Zik is really making a good progress. Don't know if it's right decision to put Av3k on ESWC Masters, while zik is in better shape and performing better play now... imo

zik is already invited to ESWC Poland, where will be overall 6 players along with him. There are two slots for us this time, however only first place is being fully paid by the ESWC staff. Nonetheless he's one of the favorites to win the whole event. Even if he places second, maybe PGS will send him. Either way, he has pretty big chances to get to the finals.

Both of the lightning guns from these players looked and sounded at about 40%. I was shocked to see the real statistics.

spam, thats why you will seldomly see high accs at the end screenshot or during the game like a lot of ppl are demanding them. Even if the guys hit 50% lg a lot of times during the game.
