EDIT: and you can thank my roommate for doing such a shitty job timing items for me; otherwise I woulda advanced to dkt and it would've been:

EDIT II: and next time lets have some admins hop all over my opponents face when the rules aren't followed - I shoulda been able to pick a map from the 5 map pool and shoulda threw out a map in the preset because they were his best maps.

Either spectate the games and make sure everything goes smoothly according to the rules, or respond/act according to support tickets.

Hopefully ESWC is done correctly next year, and I'll do my part: Get a lot of practice under my belt to win the whole thing.

To be honest I really don't play any video games while I have school.

There's so many things to do in college, from friends to seminars to research to actual classes that I can't spend an hour playing video games and not miss out on some more interesting things. Its not the classes so much as all the other things you have available to you at some of the really nice universities.

Was studying for a test and trying not to study, what can I say, I"m lazy :). Anyways I did miss some stuff, there was a seminar on geometric separation (when I was posting) that I wanted to attend but was too lazy to get myself on campus.

Yeah because pyro definitely can't do math (reports wrong score totals), I didn't know addition was so difficult. Thats another point right there:

If I kept track of timing items rather than having my roommate try to do it , then I DEFINITELY would of OWNED pyro because obviously he can't deal with numbers too well. My roommate did well during practice games, but during the real deal he was silent because he didn't wanna "screw" me up.

I want the correct numbers to go down in history, as I'll be winning ESWC 2009.

IMPORTANT: ESWC Quake Qualifiers

The structure of Quake tournament being single elimination is crippling the competitive spirit and should be immediately changed to double elimination. Particularly in the United States, most of the top players are currently in the top brackets and because they're facing each other and eliminating themselves, our competition in San Jose will be diluted.

How many other countries will this same situation need to happen before it is understood? The ESWC administrators should immediately change the US and all other qualifiers to a world wide standard of double elimination. I sincerely hope you take this into consideration because regardless of this affecting results of current qualifiers, it's a change that should be made and will make sure those that move on to San Jose to represent their respective countries are ones that truly who should be, and would receive appraisal from all gamers who enjoy, compete, and spectate these events.

According to some people (including daler) relic forfeited his match with daler because of dkt. dkt didn't want to play past 9, and relic was still driving home from work after he had to get off early. relic and daler scheduled their match for today (Friday), but a ref forfeited relic yesterday because dkt is a baby.

I'd be scared to play relic too.

I don't get why US quakers just keep on running their own ESWC Qualifiers in such a miserable way.
