You can have your small time no-one cares internet wins and shamefully post the demos that prove you are a typical attention whoring American. No offense to z4, but this isn't like you are the first to scale everest...or the second...or the 3rd.

Despite your frankly confusing PR efforts, the facts are still the facts. You haven't done anything to disprove the claims that you are legitimate (legit is relative term here since you fail to win when it matters anyways). In fact, in past events you have gone out of your way to avoid all opportunities afforded to you by the community to come out and play and prove the skills at lans and proper tournaments.

You are in the same class as that Arktik newb - just slightly less entertaining.

on a more anecdotal note, i might be one of a few players who did beat themselves. what, how's that you ask? i'll explain.

in a CPL QW match i actually fell into the lava/void more times than my opponent and lost the match something like - 5 to -1. this is a case whereby you could claim a player actually beat himself. though, in my opponents defense, he did scare me into the void once by shooting at me.

yeah, i'm not very good at QW. shocking but true.

Well, the first thing that I can say after reading all these comments is: how the hell is it possible that z4 still sucks donkey balls (on this map), while he's supposedly practicing 2-3 hrs a day??

i did, i watched demos of czm on hub with r_show 1 and it doesn t look as fishy as it does here. As hoens says, walter doesn t do any prediction mistake. He is NEVER surprised by anything zero4 does, and he is never WRONG when it comes to tracking him in the map. When i watched a czm demo he was surprised at least 4 or 5 times per MINUTE....

exactly. not to mention his aim that never twitches even a bit. I mean shit even if you know the guy's at RA and he's about to drop down you still don't know his exact model position, so you need to adjust your crosshair after you see him, and that usually takes a certain amount of time. not with walter tho, he just makes the corner and shoots you in the face with 0ms delay, his mouse already perfectly positioned to your exact pixel location. it's like the hand of god man. amazing stuff.

I talked to a shrink friend of mine and I thought of walter, so I asked him weather people with real schizophrenia can be good at sports?

He said no fucking way. Even with meds and mild forms of illness they can function on everyday life level with difficulties. Anything that requires concentration, not to mention quick decision making and reflexes under pressure is out of the question.

Yes it would be really better to pick some recent CPMA vq3 hub demo since there hasn't been tournament featuring the best players like for 2 years (AFAIK the last big one was CPL WInter 2006) it might be difficult. Even tho you'd pick a demo featuring 2006 czm it wouldn't tell us much, because the skill on the map might have devoloped in the two years. Obviously I am not for or against Walter it's only that picking 2005 OSP demo seemed just ridiculous to me, it's told us nothing :-p

that LG track through wall sure if dodgy, also the fact that walter plays pretty aggressive aim style, but makes very very few mistakes and always or almost always, seems to know exactly where his opponent is. there were very few prediction mistake. i think i saw a bit of shot priming too, for instance the RL frag when walter is standing on LG and z4 jumps from RA.

aimbot is out of the question, WH is a possibility. I used to think walter didnt hack, but now im not sure. it would be a pity if he did cos if he didnt he would be an amazing player, albeit a bit of a rail whoooooore. the fact that hes also a bit of a headcase could explain alot.

wow, my english is really quite bad. im too lazy to fix it though :)

im not talking about prefire. Im talking about lining up shots, with knowledge that you couldnt possibly have. with shownormals, you see z4 jump from RA towards LG, and whilst he is still behind wall, out of sight, you are preparing your rocket shot.

im not outright accusing you of hacks, but i certainly wont rule it out either. As far as im concerned, the evidence for hacks is fairly flimsy, although its arguable its getting stronger, that LG track is the best of it so far.

okay, watched the demo with ogc wallhack (unlike r_shownormals you can actually see when the opponent is visible and isnt, to a cheater). to me, there is no longer any question that he cheats. wallhack, definitely. autoshoot, probably (though toggled of course).

i am not really surprised, his behavior hinted of this long ago.

Because when I watched the demo, I almost always knew exactly where z4 was he was extremely predictable, z4 hardly changed his style of play during any part of the match. Walters movement alone is enough to say he is legit, because it is so complex and accurate, his dodging skill are are also very good. Nothing in this demo can be used as so called 'evidence'. z4 played a brainless game.

after watching walter play over the past few months, and having played against him, he obviously plays a very unique style, a different style. I would say his game is based around his movement+aim. Movement being the basis of his game obviously. Walter can move around maps at high speeds, and at those speeds he can aim well. I dont think walter cheats at all, he just has a very unique style.

Buy yourself an advance ticket to San Jose and play some games at ESWC
If you're the real deal then I'm sure at least on Hub people will be queing up to get some warmup games with you and I'm sure someone will let you bunk in with them at night. Make a post, even if some people don't like you the ability to prove you're a cheater will overshadow that.

I'm not sure about you. Firstly, there's this thing with your name...

Are you Walter? or telnet or ip Walter, or is someone aliasing-cos if so, naming yourself after a network protocol IMO makes you more suspect regarding cheating because only a nerd<3 would do that and to to me that gives a script kiddie persona which is common with hackers crackers.

Secondly, I never seen anyone rail like this, there's an almost mechanical precison to some of these shots, but I get the feeling you play hub on a lot of prediction, which would not work on other maps and explain why I only seem to hear Hub from you.

Seriously, if I was good enough to be accused of cheating By good people not nubs), I would fucking walk to San Jose to just rub peoples faces in it.

I did not go to Qcon cos the prizes were only for top 3 and I did not feel I would make top 3.(Blame the stupid prize payouts to discourage "Outsiders"-who cleaned up anyway.

So no I did not fancy paying 1000 pounds and flying from UK to play a game of Doom 3-especially with id FORCING things like Gun model on, and forcing people to play with all the grapics on high, aswell as vsync. Basically the opposite I had played since day one.

Whoever says Walter hacks is a fucking joke. Look at his movements during the game? look at 14:50 how he strafes to get ra.. this kid is a genius. He picks the PERFECT weapon for all situations. He has perfect timing. He has absolutely the best strafing technique ive ever seen. He has done bridge to rail jump WITH CPMA PHYSICS IN ONE JUMP. He can attack and defend at the same time, have you ever seen walter dodge rockets/grens/lg shafts in battles? its pure genius. His rocket ability is accurate and his spamming is pure logic and works. There is no weird movements when he fires his rockets as if its auto fire or shoot, its normal as they come. Even spawns, walter clearly shows his knowledge of the map, 'waiting out zero4 at the correct spawn he delayed'. Walter was the only one who played 'unborn' day after day on hub even when others thought he was a cheater it was actually czm. And walter did NOT DO BAD. Now if czm stopped playing and walter continued to play with the practice of czm behind him of course he would blow up and become like this demo proves, UNSTOPPABLE. Well, he would be if he had some nerves, but he is a weakling in that regard. It's quite sad tbh. :(

Fox/fazz/tox/cooller/zero4/socrates/czm/unkind/lexer -ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY-, if Walter was this good back in 2002 and actually had some balls, he would DISMANTLE YOU and just plain own the fuck out of you.

lmao I've seen a lot of great duels on that european duel leagues and Ive been watching a lot of demos and been on GTV's to see the old stars battle it out... And this is the FIRST TIME I see someone aiming rail like this. At first I watched the demo, not even aware that there was a huge amount of people accusing walter of cheating.

So I just saw that demo on ESR, downloaded and launched it... And this rail was weird. Before I could get biased, I saw it by myself. "noway this rail".

It seems like your crosshair is never further than a few inches from the enemymodel every single time.

I'm sure you're not legit and the fact that you just back away at every lans just goes into my way. I've been reading a lot of your comments and it seems you're a real pr0 and you own everybody in the nowadays quakescene. So why don't you attend eswc, since you are clearly trying to convince the whole world you're better than anyone else? Ain't there a lot of money to win then ?

No. You're definetly cheating and don't want to be caught. That's as simple as it can be, sadly.

Ok, in all, true, honesty, i can't really see anything wrong in that demo. I watched it five times, and all i see is a pretty damn good game from Walter (or just a good game from Walter and a crappy one from Z4, depends on how you look at it).

I've also seen some other Walter demos, didn't really see anything blatantly cheat-like in them also. Very good aiming, prediction, consistent guessing in what will the enemy do, some luck here and there. Also, he does lose to people, playing exactly the same. Not like he's some sort of unbeatable monster.

I understand that him being a cocky troll primadonna (? :D) isn't exactly helping, much like his apparent mental handicap, to prove he isn't a cheater, but all this amounts to, is, he is a good player people try to discredit just coz they don't like him. That's how it looks to someone who isn't biased either way, just stands on the sideline and observes, like me.

Now there's this drama of being solid 100% proof around... but only a select few are able to see it. Wtf? If you have a proof of someone cheating, post it. Or at least give some info about that. Anything.

This is all really unfair towards the guy, whatever his attitude. I've been accused of cheating a few times as well (though mostly by noobs, and this is funnier coz i'm not even half the player Walter is), and i know how it feels like when you have many people thinking you cheat when in fact you do not. Makes you feel like exploding, like just throwing all the shit you can at everyone around, just to make you feel better.

And @ Walter - i feel for you, if you cheat or no, coz unless you really prove yourself live, on a lan, this stuff is just gonna keep happening.

Once neutral, im starting to go towards the cheating accusing crowd. Either hes a real quake god who enjoys upseting people, which would be extremely twisted, or hes a very good strafer that with the help of some cheating turns into a god. Fox is a very reserved player, his opinion matters a lot at least for me.

1) i'm not very impressed by this demo, maybe my standards are too high but i think you'll have problems if you play other top players if they are on their game like you are now (playing constantly)

ESR has definitely become the home of all the FPS trolls that could possibly exist. And boy do they like to give their opinions about walter, even if they've never played Q3 for more than a couple hours - or are about as good and clueful as someone who's hardly ever played Q3 for more than a couple hours.

And yet again not a single fact against walter although he continuously, willingly, gives away his pov demos.
So I suppose with the many demos he gave, we should have plenty of material to prove how he hax.
Why does he have to prove he does not cheat, and how do you prove that ? So nobody can ever be good online ever again until he shows up on LAN ? And then what, what will that prove ? That he doesn't cheat on LAN, alright. Then what ?
Why don't you prove he does cheat on these demos ? Why doesn't someone give me a detailed report of one of his demos and explain to me how this and that cannot possibly be skill, clever spam, good hearing, etc, and can only be cheat ? How do you tell ?

OK just my 2 cents.. looking at movement and stuff, it's obvious that there's a lot of skill envolved. one could install all hacks in the world and hit 90%, yet you can't cheat in movement. I didnt watch it with any hack though, and assuming he wouldn't be walter, I think anyone would have accepted that demo as a legit one from a very skilled player.

I don't think he wallhacks. Autoshoot though, is fairly obvious to me. If you've ever seen someone play with autoshoot you will know it looks exactly like walter's alleged "unique rail style". Rails at 1:04 and 1:07 are particularly obvious for me, though there are many more even in just that single demo.

He has definitely played a great deal and knows how to move and spawnrape (on hub anyway). All it takes though is that extra little edge to turn someone fairly decent into very good. For walter, that little thing is called autoshoot on railgun.

guys, i have quit vs kgb dm6 because i understand that the final score can be even more than on dm13...

when im playing with non cheater im sure that my every lg or rg shoot is 90-100% in any situation, just a few seconds and the other side got minus100-200hlth, that helps me to force enemy tying to find 25-50health every time, and gaves a total control over ra and mh... so im 200-200 everytime and my aim is godlike, even the godlike strategy is not helping to my enemy's...

but when im playing against the person who also picks 90-100% in every shoot, im confused, beacuse every time i play's with the psychological advantage that gone if i understand that i have no aiming privileges...

so i decided to forfeit, i was fucked(((
