Would you recommend some good movies?

to be honest i started to make an article about them, i've already uploaded some of them to videogoogle and filefront but now it's not really needed :P (thanks to dimmo)

I will recommend you some movies. you definitely have to see:
Polish Frag Festival II http://www.ilja.balabin.net/q2/Polish_Frag_Festival_II.avi - it's "pure classic", the biggest amount of downloads; it was released some time ago but it was known as the only movie that can compete with the best Q3 movies for some time

bubkez frag collection - http://ilja.balabin.net/q2/bubkez_frag_collection.avi - afaik high fov, 16:9 video aspect, nice music and awesome frags; many grenade/rocket frags are really awesome

sYnthesized 2 - this movie was made by one of the best players (at least in TDM), Scooby; if i remember correctly, there is one of the best frags i have ever seen; some people don't like the music but imo this trance (?) works awesome with those frags

EDL 3 & EDL 4 - European Duel League is probably the most prestigious Quake 2 league; only duel frags but both movies are really great (and they are a bit different), i like music in both movies very much; there are frags of such a good players, like Purri and Damiah, it guarantees good show :) also quality of the second movie is really nice

KTA Movie - made by Dimmo, "alternative" (funny :P) music, not too many effects

Pure Old School - Scandinavia - can't say much about this one (don't remember) but i was told that it's one of the best movies, at least if we are looking @ frags (the best scandinavian players

Daelmun's 'shuper' Jumps&Frags - many nice tricks and frags but i didn't like music very much :(

You can also see:
3c movie - i am recommending it because it's my clan's movie :D though music quality is poor, there are few nice things (grenades part inspired by BRAVIA commercial/advert, some work with 3dsmax)


i would recommend more movies but i don't have time now (first part of synthesized and pff, as well as three movies from bubkez). i am also sure that i forgot about some of them. anyway i may add them later. you have enough for now :P

well 2nd is also quite long (~25) but 1st is horrible in that aspect :P

i remember when i was downloading first one, i wasn't playing any online game back then and i had 128 connection, took whole day to download :D

Always liked PFF 1 over 2 didnt get boring for me

yeah i forgot about this one, it's very nice :)

In daelmuns video daelmuns_shuper_jumpsfrags8 he used a bot. look at 5:09 into the video and pause it when he shoots. he is way to the rigth while the rails still hits the oponent.

There has never been as cool an in-game effect as the Q2 rail spiral, still looks absolutely gorgeous to this day. The Q3/QL version is a pale imitation at best.

q3/ql rail beem thingy is pathetic , at most =P
