A new update adding support for Steamworks is currently available in beta for Day of Defeat: Source, the World War II online action game from Valve.
Main features are 51 new achievements, player avatar support and detailed player statistics, new particle effects and a nemesis-revenge freeze cam that was taken off Team Fortress 2 development and the map dod_Palermo which is a remix of the most popular community map 'dod_salerno'.
All owners of Day of Defeat: Source can test it by starting the steam client and look under your "Not Installed" games list.
It has already been confirmed that CS:S will be updated. The beta is already in progress; if you opt in for the current Steam client beta, you will see both the DOD:S beta and CS:S beta appear in the game filter of the server browser.
