In Crysis, I want to see the walls and floors painted with blood after you rip a guys neck open with a combat knife, and blood shoots eight feet out in front of him. And then you can continue to remove his head with that knife. I want to see a guys torso being blown in in half by explosives and it takes him 2 minutes to die. i want to see the player to remove dead enemy soldier's hearts, just for fun.

Tbh, that'd be seriously cool, but how demented do you think the developers would have to be to make something like that? Seriously there'd have to be an entire department of the game's development to like, "Gore Engine" or "Gore Artists".

i remember Rise of the Triad (ROTT) where if you blew a guy up with a rocket some eyeball would be flying your way.

A mode in the original version of Crysis which was later removed in fear that the game might receive an adults only rating from the [[ESRB]]. that could we switched on that allowed for '''extremely''' high ammounts of [[violence]], [[gore]], and [[blood]]. Your could blow pieces off of enemy soldiers body, such as limbs, parts of limbs, heads, parts of an enemy soldier's torso, with high-caliber weapons, explosives, and point-blank shots with [[shotgun]]s. And if an enemy was shot with a direct-hit from a rocket launcher, they would explode into hundreds of gory pieces and a red mist would shoot outwards from the explosion. An NPC's organs, such as his [[intestines]], could fall out of his body if he was hit by a projectile the right way. And The [[NPC]] damage mapping was so detailed, that the entire human anatomy, such as skeletons, all the internal organs, the circulatory system (shoot an NPC in and artery and they slowly bleed to death), very realistic blood splatter and blood leakage, the ability to sneak up from behind an enemy NPC with a [[combat knife]], and cut his throat open and very large ammounts of realistic blood, (according to the game's developers), would shoot outwards six feet in front of him and realistically spray any wall or object in front of the NPC with blood. And it would drip to downwards. The most controversial ability in the mode was that the player could dismember, mutilate, and "rip up" a fallen enemy NPC's body after he was killed, including removing body parts and carving out organs with the "not included in the final cut of the game" combat knife, which was later replaced by fists later in the game's development. Extremely realistic sounds of enemy soldiers screaming in pain were included in the game, but later removed. The game's violence and gore were highly toned down in the middle of it's development. And it was given an "M" for mature rating by the [[ESRB]].
