yea, in both these matches they just keep piling up machinery like crazy. I thought zerg are supposed to be the swarm, not the other way around.

On what basis? The current results and map pool would point towards protoss being the strongest race given qualified players by race breakdown and results.

obviously my assertion wasnt based in science, i just dont really like terran. some points i can think of is that they are easyish to macro in comparison to zerg for instance(im not saying macro is easy tho...), their units have crazy DPS, their tech is pretty strong. Also i feel that fact that they are the middle ground race gives them more adaptability. SC is still massively well balanced however.

Maybe its just the fact that SC gods usually turn out to be terrans, c.f boxer, oov, nada, flash etc. The only real zerg gods i can think of are Savi0r, and for protoss im not even sure if one ever totally dominated the scene like the others i mentioned.

Too much crap for me to understand what is happening. I've tried watching high-profile match-ups before and I'm sitting there scratching my head when you hear the entire audience go crazy over a certain type of move or some kinda micro-fight that happens.

haha same, been years since i played this game so i'm watching it going wtf? by the end of the match i started understanding some of the moves but i just couldn't appreciate the skill involved, guess i need to pick up sc2 when it comes out

also whats the point of the player cams

couple of poker faces never show any expressions

they usually switch to the player cam when something quite big just happened, like getting your sci vessels scourged or whatever, u often see the players make unhappy faces etc, just makes the competition more real. i find it fun aslong as they dont spam it.

they should show players POV too.. you'll get a seizure :D

Starcraft and quake are the real skillgames - and should be there instead of that cs, cod4, wc3 crap :(
