i don't think there was a time when polosatiy was number one in russia , there was always some1 better like lexer or death,
it's not easy to become no1 in russia with so much tough competitors - all the mentioned are probably amongst top 10 duelers in europe

Noone can "kick his ass" right now or in the past. When people beat him in tourneys it never happens with a margin more then 10. On the last tourney he lost to Unkind in an overtime. Its also known that polos have owned zero4 at wcg and beat lexer in every game they playd the day before Lexer went to WCG.

and after he said that he played some practise games (he didn't play in the tournament) vs ZeRo4 and won a few :)


conclusion of this whole story: there isn't a number 1 in russia i think maybe a top5 or top10 or something with a lot of skillfull players :)

well i count polosat1y as the best russian quake-master, cause he owned the q2-scene in russia and owns the q3-tdm-scene in ru atm, so this guy is pretty amazing...

like blue and senti, a real quake-mastaH, who behavied moore than just 1 quake-game.

btw polosat1y is the one who first made the best skilled "Jump-around-the-edge"-demo

where he makes jump like 3 years ago, which some of the todays elite players in q2, dont able to make.

Didnt you see the best of 3 event which polos and death had some while ago. Polos beat him on ztn and raped him on t2.
Now youre saying he sucks because death beat him by 1 frag in a fun game? I think there's players like polos,death,nobap,cooller,kik,lexer,pele,unkind who can beat each others any day when they get a good game. It's impossible to say who's the number one nor number 2 or 3 russian at the moment.

Maybe Lexer still is, but we don't see many of his games.

After polosat1y, I think powaz is the best russian quake3 player. Maybe he doesnt win as many duels as the other guys you mentioned but he has the best air rockets in history! (after Blue that is) and a really great shaft!

Not really h0rus, I have seen many of powaz demos, he changes his nick pretty often... like first I think it was power, then pow3r, then powa, and then pow3r once again. Now I believe it is Powaz...
Back to the point, he makes a LOT of air rockets, maybe it was a bit over the line saying the best in history but in my opinion he is really among the best with the rocket launcher. In an interview with b100.death, death said that power had a fierce rl aim and since then I´ve been downloading some of his demos and I haven't seen one that is proving the opposite.

I cant see the other pplz in that EU - USA (laker) demo..
still.. Ive tried with osp and without.. and also tried to set enemycolor and skin to defualt.
What more can create this "bug" ?

its probably because you don't have correct osp version (the one it was recorded in), the easiest thing to do is download cpma at http://www.promode.org as it can play all the osp demo types.

i think top10 in Russia is: pele, polosatiy, death, kik, lord, powaz, unkind, demon, devil, hornet, lexer and more quakers from another Russia's cities f.e. Samara: pS.Freem4n

There will be a 800$ Russian Q3 tournament soon (S.-Petersburg vs. Moscow). So we'll see who's who...

If you russians love to wank on about "practice games" then I saw one super nooob player in Capt Veg hand him his ass on Tourney 2 by 20 or so frags, then Lobsta hand it to him in the actual Tournament. Janus gave it to him not once but twice after he whinged the first time claiming there was LAG!!!! .....

with reference to his not saying GG or GL, think again to when lobsta beat him in the tourney , he quit with 30 seconds to go because he knew he was going to lose . BAD SPORTSMANSHIP THERE ! didnt even give him the decency of playing till the end. So stop wanking on about how good he is cause he aint, if he was that good he would be up there in the TOURNAMENTS> practice games mean shit.

I had my WGM for like 4 years with a cloth pad, until a mouse button broke. I also had a Mitsumi ps2 for a year and its still as good as new!
