I'm really looking forward to seeing what Vo0 can do with some more practice. He looked like at a couple moments not to know what to do, but I think some more practice with high-end players and he'll definitely be a force to be reckoned with.

which was just a nice indication of how shit I played (smth vo0 and I agreed upon) which was pretty much all nerves :(( I kept thinking in the game, omg what if I beat vo0 here blablabla... and I'd forget the times on the mega for instance.
And well imo it's a real nice achievement (aka skill) of vo0 to stay a lot calmer than me during the game so he deserved the win ;)

Stay away from open areas where the LG has the upperhand, always be aware of the lg max range. Try to choose your fights.

Finally, just keep using that lg and your acc will rise!

Force the opposing player to "look" for you, then will result with you trapping him with RL. It works pretty good in ztn.

and pls ffs, if you are running away from lg. please do NOT run in a straight line. It is the most stupidist thing you can do.

lol i know what you mean, i started playing a lil while ago and now it seems that half the time im getting chased round the map by some1 with an lg.. they gay thing is they take sooo long to kill me.. but in the end still kill me d:
I do a few seconds of shaft spamming (unless its off the spawn.. then i do it till they die haha) and if they run i dont give chase, i want my frags to look atleast a lil controlled xD

Have no idea about how to overcome this except to maybe abuse the spawns a bit more... my aim sucks so having them on a lil less health than me if they manage get an lg and start a shaft fight puts us on even enough grounds not to rage me too much (:

Q4 LG range is much shorter, cuz in Q3 it feels like a mile and a half long, and it does less damage. Then to add, the rocket has slightly bigger splash damage, and generally has more power. So if thats the kind of issues, you might wan to give Q4 a shot, not to mention it has A TON of better features such as movement.. In my opinion that is.

q4 movment is sucky arcade. players move around like flys and frames are capped differently all over the place. q4 is for noobs

Camp close range corners, rocket 'em around, and then spawnrape them. Then you make sure to watch the LG so they don't get it too easily :D

ahmmm...many pros have comparable / better aim with lg, cooller rules because of his superior control, ultra accurate rockets and he adapts to different styles in game.

ztn vs if22 had to be frustrating. Vo0 had control for the first like 10 minutes, but you can just camp camp camp run like if22 did...it seemed like if22 spent about 50% of the match in the stairs area by the RL.

Looking forward to reduced rail damage (and knockback, perhaps?) in Quake Live, even if the game is exactly the same otherwise. Might eliminate some of the boring defensive matches.

Vo0 is looking pretty good to me though.

I've seen the demos of the eswc qualifiers... the level was not a lot higher than that shown by vo0 / if-22. And since you didn't win that, my guess is you're not as good as the ones who won... so you won't be able to rape him, heck I doubt you'd even be able to rape me with 50 - 5 scores :)
