I had used the Fatal1ty pro laser mouse (2020) for half a year before switching back to MS IE3. At 45cm/360 the mouse easily skips even in slow shooters. On top of that the left button broke down in the later weeks and clicked twice when I pressed down once. But I really liked the shape, the main features that makes it different are
1) my palm never touches the mouse, so I'm directing it with fingers alone. IE3 doesn't offer that, my smaller logitech G3 doesn't allow that either, but the smaller mice I have that would allow this are too small to be comfortable.
2) I can put my ring finger on top of the mouse comfortably, Logitech MX518 offers this, MS IE3 does this to a lesser extent.
I know the fatal1ty shape originated from the logitech wingman, but that was discontinued long ago. I'm wondering if there's any other mice that take shape like this (and offers repectable tracking and better mouse bottons).
The closest thing I'm seeing on the Internet right now is Logitech G9, but I'm not sure that strip to the right of the right button is wide enough for me to put ring finger comfortably on it. I would appreciate some feedback from G9 owners.
