A mod that features both CPM and VQ3 gameplay styles.
Originally the mod was called 'CPM' and was made by hoony, it contained 'CPM gameplay'.
Then arqon added 'multi-arena' support and the mod was renamed CPMA.
For most of the time the mod CPMA was only used for CPM gameplay (even though it supported VQ3, but it was different from OSP's vq3). Eventually the VQ3 community dropped OSP and started using CPMA.
edit: also you are a fucking troll and IRL i would beat the shit out of your face
if he ported CPMA netcode to ezquake it would only be clientside and the client wouldn't work, if he did it where it's supposed to be, serverside in ktx. then it would be a totally different game, not QW by a mile. qw is playable on pings up to about 52ms then quality start to degrade, and if you have pings higher than that you really don't want to play a hardcore fps game. my 0.00000005 $
CPMA is the fleshy, spore-bearing fruiting body of a fungus, typically produced above ground on soil or on its food source. The standard for the name "CPMA" is the cultivated white button CPMA, Arqonus retardus, hence the word CPMA is most often applied to fungi (Basidiomycota, Agaricomycetes) that have a stem (stipe), a cap (pileus), and gills (lamellae, sing. lamella) on the underside of the cap just as do store-bought white CPMAs. However, "CPMA" can also refer to a wide variety of gilled fungi, with or without stems, and the term is used even more generally to describe both the fleshy fruiting bodies of some VQ3 players and the woody or leathery fruiting bodies of some CPMers, depending upon the context of the word. Forms deviating from the standard form usually have more specific names, such as "puffball", "stinkhorn", and "morel", and gilled CPMAs themselves are often called "douches" in reference to their similarity to Arqonus or their placement in the order Fat Trolls. By extension, "CPMA" can also designate the entire fungus when in culture or the Forum (called a cesspool) of species forming the fruiting bodies called CPMAs.
CPMA (3,4-Cethylenepioxymethamphetamine or Ecstasy) is a psychoactive amphetamine drug with entactogenic, psychedelic, and stimulant effects.
CPMA is considered unusual for its tendency to induce a sense of intimacy with others and diminished feelings of fear and anxiety. These effects have led some to suggest it might have therapeutic benefits in certain individuals. Before it was made a controlled substance, CPMA was used as an augmentation to psychotherapy, often couples therapy, and to help treat clinical depression as well as anxiety disorders. Clinical trials are now testing the therapeutic potential of CPMA for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety associated with terminal cancer.
CPMA is criminalized in most countries in the world under a United Nations (U.N.) agreement, and its possession, manufacture, or sale may result in criminal prosecution, although some limited exceptions exist for scientific and medical research. CPMA is one of the most widely used recreational drugs in the world and is taken in a variety of contexts far removed from its roots in psychotherapeutic settings. It is commonly associated with dance parties (or "raves") and "techno" music.
There have been debates within scientific, health care, and drug policy circles about the risks of CPMA, specifically the possibility of neurotoxic damage to the central nervous system (CNS). Regulatory authorities in several locations around the world have approved scientific studies administering CPMA to humans to examine its therapeutic potential and its effects.
