you just have to respect them, if they dont wanna get their games to get uploaded on the net, dont do it. these are bad manners from you according to the other players. get their "YES" and upload as much demos from them, as u want.
In real life if you play a game of football or something and you dont want people to spec, what you gonna do throw a tantrum and throw everyone out of the park?
What you said is just bullshit stemmed from the disillusioned kids online in the first palce.
Making up stupid little rules cos they think its not real life.
If you know the guy then ok you spare him that respect.
If you dont want specs, dont play on a fucking server with like 6+ specs. you play on a private server and you get the benefits that come with that. you play in public under your real name then to me its fine.
Its not as if any of them looked bad they both played well, not as if fooki lost like 50 nill or some shit and the demo is mean to stir trouble.
fucks sake fags its a 9 year old game, get some perspective.
i prefer watching 2 good players and not uploading the demo because i respect their wishes over not watching good practice games at all.
but this will happen if nobody respects their choices and too many people start to act with no honor or feeling for the game and the comunity.
and think about it: do you want all good players to leave the server or kicking you out when they read your nickname joining ? (or any unknown fakenick)
your reasoning with football is only half the truth imo.
in german tv it was shown several times when all reporters were thrown out of important training sessions over the last weeks.
and it was the same way during the last worldcup and in other football tournaments ive seen over the years.
Teams or individuals in training that compete in real competition, training in areas and camps where they can more or less do it in secret, hence them having one off press days just to keep the public happy.
There's always some kind of mutual respect it's just what competitors do.
I do agree with what you say about spectators though, it should be private or if it's on a public server then alias.
i agree with Jamerio, you play in in the public domain, then anything recorded belongs to the public.
It's like the media who follow stars around. They don't want that shit online or on tv but it doesn't fucking matter what they want. People want to see it. Don't play the game and whine about people wanting to watch you.
