I have been involved in quake games since quake 1 all the way up to CPMA and I own every quake game including quake 4. I was a clan leader for 6 years. I've beta tested for Battlefield 2 and Painkiller (my name is in the book). I have a degree in computer programming and another in business. I am currently a project manager for an internet marketing company. I've been a member of ESR before it was called ESR. I could go on and on...

Maybe someone who cares will reply to you that the beta is currently in a qcon invite stage and there's no chance for you to get an invite atm unless you already paid for qcon.

if you know someone who has registered for quakecon, you can ask him if he has some spare beta-keys. there was some bug, and extra 700 keys went out
