how jibo managed to keep staying alive in that overtime is beyond me, maybe avek was little to passive, anyways HUGE GG both
also: in before whiners - check avek's initial spawn in first dm6
impressive ZTN, look how jibo can run away from av3k and steal the mega and red armour at the end, just amazing play by jibo. I think nobody, except jibo, can control the nervous to go away when someone trapped you in the jump to the rocket with no armour and life at 30.
I don't understand how jibo loses the final LG duel in ztn with avek, he's got 200/200.....
Yep, though he get away with 2hp apparently.
I think honestly Avek got lucky in that particular fight, since he lose pretty much all equal face to face shaft fight in the game.
I think it was even a mistake for him to try to take down Jibo here considering how he was outshafted during the game.
Anyway, amazing game by both players, even though I'm a little bit more impressed by Jibo's amazing self-control during those overtimes.
hmmm hows the winner was decided between the two..?
if jibo had won 2 maps in the first set and av3k won 2 in the second set how you decide the winner? frag difference? or because av3k came through the winners bracket?
how did razerj get out of the ztn RL jumpad during OT when av3k had him trapped with like 33 hp, on ztn2 ? ?
it all came down to a single LG fight where av3k had better position.
jibo is so resourceful when not in-control it's ridiculous. any chance he is the batman?
I was shitting my pants during jibos dance of death at the end of ztn, that was fucking nightwing-esque dodging, fuck. (Nightwing is the greatest acrobat in DC universe)
The last LG was decided cuz of the cripple effect, whoever shot first had it won.
Saying that av3k won last game (and the whole tourney) only because of spawn is just so stupid. He won because of perfect control, great timing and not making many mistakes. Moreover, he's clearly the best dm6 player out there now (with Cypher), he has the best/fastest movement on this map and I guess he would win this particular game even if the first spawn was opposite.
P.S Yes, I know about the previous dm6 game in first BO3. Av3k wasn't playing good, and that's it. HE DIDN'T LOST BECAUSE OF SHIT SPAWN OR ANYTHING, HE PLAYED BAD.
I'll agree with you there, it was good control and timing that lead to his win.
But, the problem with DM6, is that if you have two players that BOTH have perfect timing and control (Both av3k and Jibo can do both), THEN the game is determined by spawns.
So, if av3k were to get the shotgun YA spawn at the beginning, Jibo would of won. As long as both players are equal in terms of skill with control and timing, the map decision is determined by spawns.
I find that MOST of the time, if you spawn at shotgun near YA, your opponent spawns at LG.
we would only know if THAT (not beeing warm) was what made avek lose if the first spawns at the 2nd dm6 were the same as the 1st, so we won't know.
Btw avek was hitting pretty well at the 1st, and strangely he almost didn't get the rail the whole game, or didn't get it at all (I don't remember), so that "not beeing warm" shit is much more an "excuse" then something else, failing to admit what is the biggest problem there, SG spawn.
i'd do it if i'm showing off a number of custom maps... like in a trick, defrag or ra3 movie. in regular cpm or vq3, i wouldn't bother anymore. most people are playing the same maps again and again anyway.
Two games (nodm9 and 2nd ztn) were too close and could have gone either way. If jibo had not made that mistake on nodm9 when he was leading 11-10 at minute 14, the final winner would be him. This is just an example where a match is determined by a single frag.
Oh yeah that was shameful. He was hiding at the tele doing just fine, then decided to go through. Went to sg, up jumpad and drops in the little mega hole lol. what the hell! 1 minue left.

Yeah no shit. Some of these kids...well, I feel nothing but pity for them.
Was GTV just plain lagged for this or did whoever recorded MVD's forget the g_synch 1;record; g_synch 0;rate 3000; cg_nudge 50 business? I had no dropped sounds recording masters matches.
