I've looked on google and searched forums but can't find solution for my problem.

system spec:
intel c2d
2gb ram
ATI 4850
WIndows XP SP2


I recently purchased the 4850. Before this i had an 8800gts which experienced the same problem. This, however, was fixed by disabling the threaded optimization in the nvidia control panel.

There is no option like this in the Catalyst CC.

I've also tried disabling one of the cores but this makes it a lot worse.


Any ideas? :/
