ye, but the best 3 players (who werent already qualified) were: cypher, jibo and zero4 (he played an extra decider match for the spot vs eswc)
I guess they realized later that they need more players to fill up the 32 slots and gave czm and chance an invite.

2 of the countries that were supposed to have qualifiers didnt, makes more sense now as that freed up 2 slots

I was listening to the shoutcast of quakelive when the games weren't even started and the announcers were fucking around hardcore and having people call in, Gillz first but then CZM actually phones in and they talk about shit. He said he was embarrassed that he lost to Cypher that badly and was going to train his ass off just for him, and the announcers were like 'oooh so cypher should be scared eh?' and CZM goes 'uh huh' :D

i kept messaging Gillz on irc to blurt out "dicks" and other random profanity/body parts, but he did not =[

Why are some of you people so surprised? ZeRo4 qualified for the finals by placing well in the masters. CZM finished right after him, so its only natural that czm gets to go.
