r_ignorehwgamma try 0 or 1- then u will get the effect on fullscreen too

it's actually due to windowmode forcing r_overbrightbits to "0" , so that is what you want to do to get it similar in fullscreen

Had the exact same issue when going from fullscreen to window mode but r_ignorehwgamma "0" fixed it. Thanks!

seeing how ur game looks in window mode i think u re experiencing placebo effect - it can't be any worse in fulscreen. my eyes wanted to suicide. my brain is prolly trying to develope altzheimers to forget this nightmare. even beats heartless thunderstruck cfg, ez.
