what don't you understand in a quake 3 config?

It's a bunch of settings in a text file..

- if you can't read a config file, maybe you should'nt mess with it in the first place
- if you can't sort the configs with an editor of your choice, check the help files
- there's a maximum config size for Q3 which doesn't allow for really pretty config layouts with zillions of whitespaces/tabs and 3 pages of documentation, so you will have to keep them small for that reason as well

I've seen configs like Vo0's that is split up into multiple cfgs.

simply use textpad or anything that's not ms.notepad...

Well I make mods on the Half-Life engines and Unreal Tournament engines. I never really ever looked at UT config, but for Half-Life I'm somewhat into it.

I'm working on a mod for Counter-Strike: Source that might change the way a lot of people play the game. It's all config, but with a twist.
