What about comparing them with the Mantis surfaces? i own a Mantis Speed which i never really liked... it's now old and dirty and i want a replacement. can't decide what mat to go for.

i just replaced my old mantis speed with the goliathus, if that is any indication of its worthiness.

the truth is that all cloth pads will wear out eventually. the mantis speed was great when it was new, but now it's just dirty and worn out...bring on the goliathus.

Yea, the material is a bit slicker than the mantis. I think the control versions are about the same, but the speed is more slicker on the goliathus. My DA has a really nice glide to friction ratio on the goliathus.

just keep in mind it's very subjective but as a mantis user (used at home for many months and now at work) i'm very happy with the goliathus. thats about all there is to it.

well i was never happy with the mantis speed... even when it was new so i'm not sure if i should go for this.

i love my mantis, so damn big. if you know of one that is BIGGER and of comparable quality, let me know.

qck heavy

the qck heavy is like double the price of a qck+ in my country. i have no idea why. all other mousepads having similar thickness are priced close to the qck+. the heavy is just expensive for no reason here... dunno about other places. afaik, the surface is the same as the qck+.

it is, but as far as size goes it's a bit bigger on the width, and the thickness is good for padding the wrists, or if you have an unsmooth desk

dunno why it's more expensive though. other pads which have the same thickness only cost as much as a qck+ here.

How does the feel of the speed compare to the qck+?

i don't have a qck to test it against.

How does it work with laser mice?
I just bought a g5 and sadly it skips on my qck heavy... im a very low sens player..
Anyone tried yet or could you test it? :)
