I'm guilty of wanting to buy games in materialized form, I think you can generally find stuff like Fallout collection, jagged alliance2, kotor or grim fandango on with just a few to fifteen euros more if you search a bit. I assume they also sustain their resell value more than well.

I can follow you, but it's hopeless to find a game like redneck rampage in a store these days. Beside of that, my main reason to buy from GOG, is the hours spend on making the old games work on Vista and XP. No more time spend on doxbox, which can't even run the game properly most of the time...

I really like the concept behind this site. I have used abandonware sites in the past but the games I wanted to play always had missing files and didn't work properly on XP or Vista. This site should be great in the future when they have a large catalog of games.
