Took a little stab at Cypher, Jibo seems more down to earth now. Seems that he knows once you're out of high school, you can't devote countless hours to playing a computer game professionally, if you want to go to College/University.

I guess he knows that Cypher is young and doesn't realize that (I'd assume Cypher is still in high school). He probably sees that he's getting cockier over time. No offense to Cypher, but at ESWC Athens, him suddenly wearing that hat and big sunglasses made him look extremely arrogant and egotistical, walking around like he's the greatest thing since Elvis. I wonder if I'm the only one who sees that. The irony is that he didn't even get top three there =D

I have no problem with people wearing that stuff, but if you looked before, he never really wore that before. It just came out of no where. Go look at the galleries for ESWC Athens. He really went to the top this year for Quake, and before that, I've yet to see him wear that stuff. I tolerate it, but it still bugs me when people dress differently and make the effort to 'look cooler' because they think they're hot shit.

the only people who have really won a lot from that list are toxic, cooller and zero4 and all of them have been arrogant and cocky in their own way. the only one to really back it up however, was cooller.

toxic - q3 is easier than q4 blah blah... didn't do very well at Masters.

z4 - the funny thing about him is that he's being arrogant NOW... as if he's trying to prove that he's still a top player or something; talking trash to jibo for no apparent reason.

generally the players get more exposure nowdays, cypher is more famous within the mainstream than some other players in the past, which were on the same level/very top. these lans are getting more commercial and attract much more than the used to be geek convention, it feels like the players dress up better for all this reasons.

I think that's one of the phases in normal male human development.

Sorry, but you have either balls to win or not, jibo does not. Players like av3k probably play less than him and still win. Jibo is scared to do even rjump in his games when it counts.

Gotta admit you're right. Also I don't really like watching him play his coward-mode. But I do see he's skilled in some way.

Kinda reminds me on Dennis "Thresh" Fong, who hasn't had the greatest aim, but knew how to play tactical-wise.

I've really hated games when jibo played defensively and i always rooted for his opponents. On the other hand, when jibo is playing aggresive you gotta love him, a real joy to watch.

I used to hate his style in.. 2006 I believe, but then I fell in love with it. There's so much more to his style than "omg fucking +back" and you should try to watch his games unbiased :D
