how can I watch this demo? I've read 'How to play back Q3 demos', downloaded the highly recommended DSC, but I can't find working link to download 1.17 version of Q3 in order to complete install of DSC
ps. regular 'Demoplayer Q3A' is not able to play such an extention (dm_48) of demo :(

first half of the game: don't take shaft (hehe osp)

also noticed that, he completely ingnores it even when walking past it :)

actually i remember countless aggressive games by b100.death on ztn, a lot of plasma work in mega tunnel etc.

the demos i have seen of him were on q3dm13 and pro-t4, might explain the defensiveness i recall

man... polosatiy and lakerman were 2 persons who not lose any games on amd Xsi(Usa vs Euro)... lakerman did play on same level with zero4...

probably but the level of play have improved lots over time, this only confirms it

I don't think it's that they were bad really, we've had 8 years of quake 3 being played at a high level so the game has changed drastically in many respects. they just look bad in comparison to what we're used to seeing aim/movement wise these days.

Was this the tournament where Polos faced Fatality on T2? I remember following that and at that time it was an amazing match! Polos seemed really nervous :)

heh...in 2000 i still had a ball mouse, a no-name mousepad and a 15" screen which could do something like 60hz in 1024x768 ^^

But as it was already said, it was a game played 8 years ago. The good thing, is that level has really increased since this age.

Lot of old quake fan boys says it's nothing to won tournament today because old famous quaker are retired, but when you see the level difference, I'm not sure that old quaker could do a top5 today (I don't speak about z4 who trained a lot for his come back). But for the others, I don't think that training could change something for them.
