I've used almost every mouse out there in my 20 years of computer usage. (1st computer was a Tandy 1000)
I currently prefer the IE 3.0, but I've owned or tried god only knows how many.
My earliest "gaming" mouse was a Boomslang ball mouse. I've also tried or owned the WMO, MX518, DeathAdder, Diamondback, mx300, sidewinder, G9 and I use my logi G5 at the office.
I have to say, while I still prefer my 400dpi (only have 1680x1050 res) I would consider trying the higher 800dpi if this mouse is as comfortable as it looks.
