Someone explained to me recently what the term “TL;DR” means. I suppose it’s good that I learned about it from a friend instead of having someone post it here.

The term means “too long; didn’t read” and pertains to looooong blog posts that ramble on endlessly. In this world of ever increasing media sources, people (myself included) do not want to read long blog posts. The problem is, you cannot clearly articulate any real meaning in a short statement due to the complexity of things.

So what do you do? Do you write something long and accurate that people may not finish? Or do you write something short but lacking any solid information? Or are these mutually exclusive?

Long and accurate please, because the waiting of a quakelike revival is very long.

TDM don't get no respect. It's a hard game to analyze, and even harder to appreciate as a spectator.. I can't imagine there are too many people who can tell the difference between how good that guy is playing vs the guy who goes around the maps getting the powerups, making clutch kills on the Quad, and basically doing the smart plays that make a big difference to who is in control.

I always enjoyed watching ic because they were very methodical about keeping track of armors and weapons, something I tried to make 519 do, and something I think lead to our success in NA.
