Intel's ExtremeGameFaces website just released four new "Ask A Pro" videos featuring Chance "chance" Lacina (shot at ESWC Masters), Tom "Griffin" Wall (shot at ESWC Masters), and Annie "Ecstacy" Leung (shot at ESWC Grand Finals). Questions range from Chance's opinion on QuakeLive to Annie's practice regimen in UT3, so there should be a little something for everyone.
rofl ecstacy! I almost forgot how right I was about that. I don't see how someone can be such a big media whore, and still be so horrible at answering questions. She doesn't make for a very good looking cheerleader, so I hope she makes a good sandwich.
I think these are perfect examples of the style of interviews that shouldn't be done. Only one camera, and in a fixed position, zooming in way too close to what we want to see, and asking overall really un-interesting questions.
I can't really watch much of them because of the way that they're done. After watching a lot of interviews with Carmac and also his 1v1 interviews, I guess my expectations are just higher.
These need to be quicker, faster, more entertaining.
"Jeff "HunteR_" Hunter, Matt "Fatback" Khon, and Rafik "Lost-CauZe" Bryant are currently planning what the future holds for the relationship between them. Rafik did not plan to participate in Unreal Tournament 3, 1v1 bracket. He had only played the game two times previous, less than one week in all, and he is excited to be the best UT3 Player in America.
[...]
Rafik completely dismantled the competition,"
LOL
well those forum posts are pretty old but that is nonsense of course, lost-cauze wasn't the best ut3 player in america.
in fact i heard through the grapevine that he had some kind of gaming house going on with other ut3 players and one of them was kicked out for being too good so the others could catch up.
i mean lost-cauze isn't a bad player but some of the press surrounding him is just ludicrous.
Sorry but, LAN accomplishments are the only thing that matters. So what if some player at home beats all the US players online? If he doesn't even have the effort to attends a LAN and prove himself, the he doesn't deserve to be called the best.
dude there was one lan he won where apparently the only competition was stryfe and ecstasy who hadn't even been playing in months
you can't call someone the best in america for winning one lan that wasn't important
Them not playing for months is their own fault, not his. You compete in a tournament to play your best and win. If they didn't evwn have the dignity to practice before the event, they shouldn't of competed, and don't deserve to win.
and i didn't say anything about online...all the players at the house were lanned
i'm not trying to bash lost-cauze i just think that was a retarded comment
i'm done, peace
The combination of your ignorance and stupidity is appalling at times.
1) Never said I was better than her at UT3 (Or any game)
2) Never talked down about her, simply stated facts.
3) Never said I had more tournament accomplishments than her
4) Never talked about her skill level in FPS (I said she was good at GH)
If your ignorance wants to wager $100 on me playing against her in Quake 3 VQ3 BO3, then fine, I'll be more then happy to play her.
hmm, questions were fine imho
the possibilities of a video interview werent really used, although its always nice to see the players talk anyway
the volume changes were really annoying
I can't wait to know about Annie's practice regimen in UT3 !!!!!!!
