maybe you should watch some of your beloved osp tdm demos again, you know, just to refresh your fucking stupid image of how tdm was played in osp before the switch to cpma.

yeah you're right of course, but imo there was a good mix between such games and strategic/defensive ones. Whereas now it's mostly ffadm, with some exceptions once in a while.

but you can't really blame the mod for that imho, its just the players/teams, i have also already seen some quite a lot more defensive tdm games in cpma.

Except the demos you posted don't really look like cpma vq3, or am I missing something? There was a distinct lack of cess, and an actual usage of weapons in those demos.

And even if they sometimes didn't instantly rush in to ra on dm7 because they were preparing for quad a bit earlier, thats not because of the mod, but because the players decided to do so and i have seen the same thing in cpma vq3 games.

A lan osp demo of dm7 would have probably been better, but i couldn't find one.

I just watched the dm7 one (didn't last night), and seriously it looks nothing like how dm7 is played now. If Iron played like that now, they would have been ripped apart. They actually tried to control ya/mega when they were down, and control ra when they were up.

EYE did cess, and if you notice it wasn't effective (they lost?). This is mainly due to how much easier a 45 mg is in cpma vs osp.

To be honest it looks like you grabbed 2 random demos of your 2 favorite players, and then used them as "proof" that cpma didn't change vq3. The easiest way to refute this is the first minute of the dm7 game. NO ONE would attack ra room with rl out anymore. RL is just not as viable as it was in 2004. There's really no way you can even begin to believe deus was playing cpma at any point in the demo.

Also, deus sucks, so he's a bad example. xDDDDD

Thats proper bullshit. When the rl is avail when going in to RA, its gonna be used as it still does a lot more damage if used properly. I havent seen anyone that stupid to pick up rl and then attack RA with mg out...

yea vq3 is flawed, thats right. you can't blame the mod for it, cpma only allows vq3 to be played as vq3 was intended too, you hit where you aim, isn't that quite obvious? now it makes vq3 tdm very stupid as you got tons of overpowered weapons, thats a flaw in vq3, not cpma.
