i dunno what bug your talking about exactly but i remember a wierd lag in q3 after i installed sp3?
if thats what mean then i don't know, i formated my hd yesterday and didn't install sp3.

You can uninstall sp3 from add/remove programs. You didn't have to reformat to get rid of sp3 (but if you were reformatting anyway then disregard)

no when i got the weird lag i did a system recovery but that thats was months ago, i reformatted because of virus.

Oh well, SP3 and Q3 gives weird lag? That would answer a lot of questions :/

Anyway, there used to be a problem with dual core processors in Windows XP, but I called the Tech support and they told me it is not there anymore.
