Yeah Iiyama is good and you find them on ebay.de constantly.

iiayama are strongest in the LCD gaming displays. Not that they make bad CRT's, but they're not Mitsubishi or Sony with that.
Iiayama's have the lowest input delay on their LCDs, so I often will refer people asking about LCDs to check them out.
I've been more than pleased with my NEC Multisync fe992 CRT. Anything that isn't a Dell should suffice.

I have a Dell P1130 and maybe can't reach the 200hz that the 454 can (not that you will ever need 200hz), but its a bit larger which I see as a benefit

do you have a site similar to craigslist.org? I've gotten a couple 21" CRT's for under $50, the last being a Dell P1110 for $25 that was used for 6 months in 2002.

I think there is a way to find out how long these monitors have been used for.

If you switch to second/unused input, and hold down the +/- keys together you get a hidden service menu. There is a number at the bottom... I think that's what corresponds to it... I just can't remember how... I also can't remember where I read this at all... trying to google it but finding nothing.
