Recommend to all to read the comic before seeing the movie. There's too much content that's being packed into the 2 hour, 41 min movie. I don't think it does it justice. Also, the changes to the story kind of weaken the overall depth that the comic has.
i saw the movie (at the cinema) with no knowledge of any background story and no expectations, and i thought it was pretty awesome.. i have since then seen the motion comic episodes, and i think the movie could have been so much worse..
they took the best from the comic and shortened a lot of the plot but without cutting too much out, and even improved a lot of the tiny details.. i think they quite possibly even made rorschach appear darker than he appears in the comic (great casting for that role too).. pretty much everything related to the young silk spectre plot was annoying in the comic, where many would probably say they "hollywoodified" her character for the movie, but i think it was for the good of the movie overall..
so i wouldn't necessarily recommend reading/watching the comic before seeing the movie, it stands on it's own legs pretty damn well enough imo..
2 hours of latex and bullshit and a nice half hour ending. Still very good for a comic movie. Rorschach was cool but the thing I didn't get is why did the blue faggot have underwear half the time and the other half not. On that note - not enough tits.
