Yes you heard it,

#sponti is a new chan which will have servers all over Europe and you can !add to whatever CTF server is fitting to your ping or preference.

Psi founded this chan yesterday and we already have access to 3 servers, French, German and Icelandic.

hazrd is working on the website which will give you news coverage/updates/cups

I don't get it. Spending a few minutes I found 2 other osp pickup channels. Why are you creating yet another channel to separate your already dwindling numbers?

Although osp is a inferior mod, people playing quake is far more desirable, than cs or the all-consuming wow.

Just to remind you that we play cpm because it's superior in terms of fun, entertainment and gameplay.Couldn't care less about some senseless, rather pointless cups and channels you and your slackers come up with, you will be just comming back n' forth knowing that #cpmpickup is and will be the most active pickup in q3, if not quake series

OSP has been the main mod for TDM and 1v1 for like 6 or 7 years since the release of Q3

for example iCE cLIMBERS and clan kapitol became big in OSP, and so did fatality, cooller, prozac or whom else you want to name

A lot of great EuroCups, QuakeCons etc have been played using OSP, so it's not like it's the worst mod on the planet.

And yes, a big deal of the famous matches was played online ... and noone ever complained about too massive lag. Just because CPM is superior regarding this, it doesn't mean that OSP sucks donkey balls - it showed that for years.

Riiight... OSP netcode was "fine" and no-one ever complained. And it NEVER happened that Swedish clans wouldn't play on Danish servers because then it would be ping 10 vs ping 15. Hour-long clanbase server searches also NEVER happened. Ridiculous 2-server matches to compensate for 10ms also never happened.

Back when we used OSP, the trees were greener, the sun shinier and your mother still liked me.
