Yes they are that good. Literally few players are close to them but it's still quite a big difference if you ask me.

welll.. that was an unexpected result. he played really nice though. that last map damiah relied to much on rail.

It was great to wait for an hour and miss the first map due to no GTV there. Also i dloaded a 3rd version of q2 installer and found a lot of skins missing there, so all maps were partly red textured, it'll be great to fix that.

However, the games were great! Looking forward to watch the final.

How can I put original quake 2 sounds into the Quick Quake2 installer package? I own q2 and I would prefer them rather than the new ones.

Delete all paks in BaseQ2, except pak0,1,2.
