Event: DH'09 SH

For the first time ever, Quake Forever expands outside Jönköping.
Stockholm opens up for a Quake Live tournament at Dreamhack Stockholm in August.
The tournament will be arranged by DreamHack and it's new competition partner QuakeLive.se.

Dates: August 13-15
Location Globe Arenas, Stockholm - Sweden
Competition mode: Quake Live - Duel
Number of slots: N/A
Registration: N/A
Prizes: 5000 SEK (~ $616)

Dreamhack have not yet decided if its going to be BYOC or not. But I will try my best to make it a non-byoc event. Also, note that this is unfortunately the same date as QuakeCon, we are aiming to attract the Euro players that dsnt have the sponsorship for the trip to USA.

Yeah I just heard it was the same dates. Too bad! But it's still good that you were able to get DH to have QL. I prefer two quake events at the same dates than no quake event at all. ;)
