dont underestimate calipt. he was one of germanys best duelers till end of 2004, when he went inactive. i'd expect more good performances from him in the near future.

I remember nationcup ctf games when di0 and cal would defend and were very good at that but they were also equally adept at attacking. Remember also talking to roach aswell who said di0 had really high skills, just curious is all. As I dont remember him duelling or in tdm :)

dio was probably the best def in German ctf history, however imo he lacked the competitive duelskills with respect to duelmap knowledge, timing more then 2 items at a time and simple practice. He did belong to the upper level no doubt and maybe he could have become one of the best, but as far as I know he did not have the pleasure from duel as he had in ctf. Take abso (aka absolut) as an example, known for his incredible aiming skills back then in q3 ctf, he did become a very strong q4 tdm player and even stronger in duel. In QL he is currently also quite decent. Calipt is also regaining his skills. BUT: The only problem I see in German quake is the lack of fresh meat. People on top are still the same ones as 4-6 years ago. It's not like we all aren't getting older :) - unfortunately.

Yeah i was just watching some ctf games in calipts pov when he was playing with dr (deathreign) and they had players like roach, chewie, squall, cyph, naity, xtro and also hate - The games on cp1 are hillarious I cant remember the team that they are playing some div1 team but calipt is just grabbing the flag and going up the main stairs on cp1 backwards and out the front doors and he kept doing it, like he was playing with them.

He was going up stairs faster backwards than some of the guys he was playing and they were going up forwards when chasing him! :)
