ESR - PnkBstrA.exe

Can anyone explain why does id Software need to run a process on my PC two months after I installed, tried and removed Quake Live? I consider this a violation of my rights and an outright hostile act by them. I never asked for a rootkit, I just wanted to play the damn game!

If you've already gotten rid if Quakelive then you don't need it at all. Just dl pbsetup, and use that to completely uninstall all evenbalance programs from your comp.

I haven't played Quake Live in a long time but I did notice it installed Punkbuster as a seperate application. You can find it in add/remove programs and bin it from there.
